To write a check in which you do not have enough money in your bank account

Se utiliza "Bounce a check" cuando se expide un cheque por una cantidad que no se tiene.

Ejemplos:

Si no se lleva un control, es posible rebotar un cheque. (" If you fail to keep an accurate record, you could bounce a check.")

Un cheque certificado tiene la garantía de que no será devuelto. (" A certified check is guaranteed not to bounce")
