Being upset for something that happened in the past
Se utiliza " a chip on your shoulder" cuando alguien esta molesto por algo sucedido en el pasado
Ejemplos:
"El esta resentido porque no lo eligieron" (" He has a chip on his shoulder because he wasn't chosen.")
