If you do something "from now on", you do it from now until some unknown time in the future.

Example: I was lucky to escape from the accident with just a few minor injuries, so from now on I'm going to be much more careful when I drive.

You can say "easy money" to describe money that someone gets without having to make much effort.

Example: Lucinda decided to become a model because it looked liked easy money just walking down a runway or having your photo taken.
