TODAY'S IDIOM: OVERSLEEP

OVERSLEEP

To sleep beyond one's usual or intended time for waking.

I overslept my appointment.

OVERSLEEP: Quedarse dormido/no despertar a tiempo

Ejemplos:

¿ Me falta sueño o he estado durmiendo demasiado? ("Do I lack sleep or have I been oversleeping")

Me quede dormido y no pude alcanzar mi vuelo (" I overslept and i couldn't catch my flight")

Ejemplos adicionales:

He overslept and missed the train.

Setting a regular sleep pattern can also help put your body and mind at ease, provided you don't oversleep
